Bronx Rises Against Gun Violence

David has felt the personal impact of gun violence on him and his family. His work through B.R.A.G. is driven to keep others from experiencing the same, and he does so engaging with every part of the community to keep residents, and especially young people, safe.

We walked kids to the bus stop, to the train, home. All of sudden, the school leadership was saying, ‘We’re not having any incidents after school anymore.’

Good Shepherd Services’ B.R.A.G. (Bronx Rises Against Gun Violence) program works with young people, local community residents, community organizations, and the public to promote safer streets and new community norms where violence is not accepted.
